I thought I was over the Olympics and thought I wouldn't watch this time, but then the days got grayer and stayed cold and Paul's schedule a little less normal and here I am...addicted. Please tell me I wasn't the only one who watched Yevgeny Plushenko throw an air sword into the air and then put it in an air sheath and then take the silver. And that haircut? I guess the Russians get it. Paul came home as I was watching and said, "Are they just making this up as they go along?" That would be something, but no Paul, they are not. Although that would explain the weird hip rolls in the middle of Plushenko's performance; he was just feeling the moment.

Honestly, I had the same thought about Plushenko making it up as he was going along. Who would choreograph that routine? He had to be improvising some of it.
The guy looks like a plucked chicken. I was SUPER weirded out by the hip rolls. Brian just rolled his eyes and walked out of the room.
Sooo Creepy! I can't believe he called that choreography. Yuck.
Lindsay, I am also addicted to the Olympics. And desperately trying to get Rusty to grow his hair like Plushenko. Hubba Hubba
That looks like Mc's hair!
the hip rolls alone were oh so russian ice skater. but linds, the air sword and air sheath is an awesome trademark move. Perhaps after we finish our next race we could put an air gun into an air holster (after air firing it, of course). this would be a little more "American" or, so the europeans would think. I'm with paul. next time, I want ice improv. Or, possibly, a jump-off. (this is shelley)
