Sorry. I couldn't resist that title. I just wanted everyone to meet Grayson, (named by Sabrina) our new Zhu Zhu pet hamster. Who knew that this electronic rodent could bring so much joy and happiness to my children? I can tell you who knew...the Blackhursts. This was Sabrina's Christmas present from Kate. Grayson lets you pet him, cuddle him, drop him, and step on him. He doesn't bite, shed, eat (although the girls have tried), stink, leave messes, use your carpet as a bathroom, or need to be bathed. He talks to you and can even sleep for any amount of time you'd like. If we want to go out of town, no one has to care for Grayson (a hassle I remember from my childhood). In short, he's the perfect pet.

Here are Lucy and Sabrina sitting under the table waiting for Grayson to come to them.

And here are my two saggy bottoms lovingly watching Grayson together. There is just something about cute girls and their fake hamster that gets you right there, doesn't it?

Note: I really don't hate pets altogether. Emmy (the cat) and I had some really special moments in the past. It's just that there are two types of people in the world; those who love animals and those who tolerate animals. I happen to be the latter. I didn't choose this; I was born this way. No offense to those of you on the other team.

Now that is my kind of pet!
I wanted to get Mc one....Maybe I will. Congrats on this, your newest addition :)
Do you think George would go for one? I have 2 dogs and a cat I would trade. Does it shed?
Ahhh...yes. I have an intresting story about those things. Megan has Grayson's twin. She named "her" Tanisha but then changed it to Chunk after reading the tag. Imagine this, guy offers Dave $40 to hand over 2 hamster in the store before he even purchased them. Later, stumbles upon another two hamsters in the mall he purchased for $30. So 2 free hamsters and $10 to spare. Not to bad.
We got a knockoff zhu zhu pet, and it is great! Blake is totally fascinated by it.
Love, tolerate, what about the kind of people who hate animals?
So glad Grayson fits in so well at the Sampson home...who knew he would be liked so much? Sometime you, Grayson, and the girls should stop by so he can meet up with his long lost siblings that live at our place.
I'm just wondering...where did she come up with the name Grayson?
